Hey Everyone! Just got our interview date for January 29th, super happy because i thought it was going to come much later!
A quick question, do i still need to bring the sealed medical form if I had one attached to my original K1 application? IE do i need to get the I693 done before the interview if my original k1 application contained vaccination and medical exam results? (Medical exam was December 2018, Filed for AOS April 2019)

Thanks!

Just finished my interview, the wait time was not that long. The interviewer was nice and calm for the most part. He didn’t really ask much about our story, when we got married, what we do at home or anything. Other than going over info on our application, he only asked how did we meet and that was it. And we showed pictures , lease, joint bank accounts etc. He made copies and that was it. Sat in there for maybe 15 mins. Then he said this completes your interview , you’ll be notified in the mail.

Is this a good a bad thing because he did not really ask much if anything when it came to us.

My case updated to interview completed and case must be reviewed. Is this a good sign? I’m very anxious.

Yesterday got my case approved! It's been 1 week since my interview on December 20th. The interview went well, she said that there was nothing wrong with our application and it should be fine - the only thing was she was super behind on reviewing applications and she said that she needed time to look through ours carefully.

I only wish things were approved just a few weeks earlier so I could travel to Canada to see my family early January before I have to go back to work on the 13th. It's been a year and my parents were anxious too.

But what a relief! Hopefully the card comes quick! :)

Received notice of “Interview Scheduled” for the local Hartford office. I’m glad to see processing being completed on the short side of the posted processing range (9.5 - 21.5 months).

We are also Hartford; hope this is a good omen that we will see ours soon too. Looks like we filed about two weeks after you.

I have been following other Hartford locals and it’s The dates have been pretty consistent.

That’s good to know actually. I didn’t think there were many of us on here and had stopped checking in super regularly because I figured it was going to be a while.

I’ll probably need a new medical but I’ll take it if it means we can be done with this process for a little while!
