Me! I expedited my EAD too. It took me 16 days from the day I called them to expedite my EAD until I got it in the mailbox. Is everything okay?

Can I ask you what reason did you give them to expedite your EAD? I'd like to know in case I receive a job offer....thanks for sharing :)

I spoke with USCIS this morning to create a service request since it has been 60 days since my RFIE was received without update. An hour after the request was made I received an email with the Nashville FO address at the top, stating that my response to the RFIE was received on June 28 and that they will start working on it again at NBC etc. (same words as my current status). I will call again if nothing changes in the next 30 days.

I’ve seen cases where the status only updates when they actually schedule your interview. Since you haven’t heard anything in 60 days, it probably means that they are moving on with your case. I am in the same situation (rfie response received 48 days ago). It’s hard, but we gotta stay positive.

Yeah I'm aware of a case like that for my FO. I agree that we should stay positive but given our circumstances, it doesn't hurt to inquire as well if such option is available.

I have a question for people have completed their interview.  If your foreign spouse has worked in the USA, did they ask for tax returns?  My wife hasn't filed these in the past couple of years and I am not sure if her employer paid taxes for her. Thank you in advance.
