@moosfc our is Seattle too. I'm hoping they will send it to Yakima or Spokane if it speeds things up.

Have you received your AP or EAD?

We are "Ready to schedule "as of June 19.

Patiently waiting😂

No, still crickets. I wouldn't even mind flying to another WA office for the interview. Getting a PO Box in Spokane has crossed my mind more than once. 😇

I just got an RFIE as well last week for Birth Certificate and the 864 documents. My lawyer said that he’ll send the information they requested for me.

Got the birth certificate and had to get a new cosponsor due to some technical difficulties. My lawyer plans to send the evidence in today and hopefully I hear something soon. Good luck to everyone

Any of you guys who got request for initial evidence has had your case update to “case instead for an interview”?

I got got rie for birth certificate, even though I provided the document with its translation in my package. My BC has all the info they usually request (stamps, name, parents name, place of birth, date, hour and even the name of the hospital I was born at). I’m not sure what they are expecting from me.

Hi pals... is that how you guys are informed if an RFE is issued.???? This is the notice i got!!! What could it be?

On June 27, 2019, the Post Office returned a notice we sent you for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number MSCxxxxxxxxx because they could not deliver it. This could have a serious effect on your case. Please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice immediately. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

Do you have the petitioner's name on the mailbox? It seems USPS failed to deliver mail to you. Might be RFIE, or biometrics notice if you haven't done it yet. Or maybe appointment letter for the interview.

Agree. There is a BIG disjoint between USCIS and USPS with regards to change of addresses (COA) and mail delivery. I saw this on a USCIS link about COAs:

Quote

Change of Address Information

We strongly encourage you to update your address with USCIS to ensure you receive all correspondence and benefits from us in a timely manner and avoid possible delays related to your case.

Changing your address with the U.S. Postal Service will not change your address with USCIS. Please update your information with both USCIS and USPS.

REF: https://www.uscis.gov/addresschange

Finally, the squeaky wheel gets the grease. USCIS (hopefully) will be soon rolling-out a better mail delivery system: https://www.uscis.gov/news/news-releases/uscis-begin-using-more-secure-mail-delivery-service  :thumbs:thumbs

YMMV.

Hi guys,

I'm May filer, but have been reading April filers; posts, and realized that my I-765's status didn't change to "fingerprint review was completed" like my I-485. Has anyone had the same situation? Is it gonna affect my combo card process? thank you!!

Mines still had Fingerprint fee received and I did my biometrics on June 3rd, everyone said the same thing though. If you wanna be sure , Call USCIS to verify that you attended your biometric appointment.

I’m an April filer too. I did my biometrics on May 10 & it still says “fingerprint fee received”.

I be done my interview and a day after my interview  it changed to case ready to be scheduled for interview.  But on the 10th of June I spoke to tier 2 about my address that was messed up. 21th of June I received an email that uscis has updated my address... I don't know if it's the notice of the updates address they mailed to me on that same day I received the email or something serious.  Bottom line is that it never came because they still didn't fix the address properly even after receiving an email about it on the 21st

Hi thank you for your reply.

I just got off the phone with USCIS, after almost 2 hours wait I talked to a rookie...

Anyways, he said that he confirmed with his supervisor it's normal that they just took one,

because I only got 1 appointment notice for both I-485 and I-765.

And if USCIS needs more information from me, then they will send me another notice.

I asked him if it would affect my I-765 process he said no, but I feel he just didn't know.

So, I might try to call again and hopefully get a senior next time.
