UPS lost our application for birth certificate sent to Canada needed to fulfill RFIE.... I spent $60 for 3 day shipping, now ten days later and an hour on hold with UPS.... Now have to resend...further dragging out this whole thing. I could cry. So tired of this.

Looking for thoughts 

Have you used photos for documents (I mean,  take a picture with the phone, add it into a Word document and print the document) instead of a regular photocopy ?

The case is that my Birth Certificate doc is large and I can get a better/cleaner/fits all results by using a photo.

 

Would you think that could be any issue? ever heard of RFIE for this?

How big is your certificate? Is it slightly larger than a US ‘A4’.

I liked "Fast Scanner" on Android. I used it to scan/take photos of some things like my passport and then printed out the PDF that fast scanner generated with the pictures I took. My/my husband's application didn't get any RFEs so that's likely fine to use

Hello VJ members,

 

We had our interview today and got approved!!!

We got text within 30 min of leaving USCIS that our case was updated and verified tin case tracker that our card is being produced.

Very glad and grateful that everything went smooth and well thus far.
