EAC Status - Case Transferred To Another Office and Case Was Received At My Local Office

Is anyone else waiting to file N-400 until USCIS offices open back up? I feel like I am SO close to seeing movement in my i-751 (SO many numbers before and after mine getting approval), that I am worried that if I file the N-400 while offices are closed it'll just slow down my i-751 approval.

I would trust just your intuition. No one knows how they picked up cases and how long will you wait...why don’t apply now and if it will be combined interview - nothing wrong...

Totally agree—there were so many cases around mine approved or RFE’d in the last few months but my case was untouched. So it is better to apply for naturalization than wait, especially since you might be waiting for months and years.

Is anything happening for naturalization apps. now, though? I was under the impression they can't possibly be touched while USCIS offices are closed.

 

EDIT to add that I am NYC based, so USCIS offices may open up even later here than anywhere else.

I don’t think anything is happening until the USCIS is reopened. My case is “taking longer than expected” but we’ll see how it goes after they reopen.

Not yet,  waiting for my physical card

Case received April 2nd 2019, case was transferred January 22nd. New card is being produced may 26th! Good luck everybody! Stay safe and strong

I was waiting for my approval too, but i751 approval is getting delayed, i decided to go ahead and apply for N400. The Offices are opening on June 4th.

I think they are accurate but they are publishing 3 month wide windows, kinda like surgery with a baseball bat
