My ROC was approved in a little less than 1 year (just a few days short of a year), and I only filed the N-400 about two weeks after my ROC approval. 

It's just so odd that I see the receipt numbers ending in 01,02 and 03 getting updates, and then nothing for 04 and 05. And then updates again for 07 and 08 and so on. Those are some really odd batches. I'm sure they have some kind of system, but I haven't been able to figure it out.

Are you planning on waiting for the ROC to be approved before filing the N-400? That was my plan, I wanted the ROC done and dusted first. 

Yes, I am waiting for my ROC approval before moving on to N-400. Hopefully soon.

congratulations for getting the ROC part done, I think you have passed the main hurdle, now as soon as their offices open up, you will get biometrics and then interview and then oath soon, depends on that backlog though but first they got to open the 1 on 1 interviews or start doing Online Zoom Interviews

So I just got my informed delivery email from USPS to say I have a letter from USCIS in the mail today. Check my case online and on case tracker to discover that us and 10 cases after us got a RFE. Do y'all think it's a stalling tactic? It's been over a year now and I'm well ready for the N-400 but was wanting to get my "money's worth" out of this.

 

Anyone else with SRC cases got RFE letters in the last few days? What were they asking for?

Since most of the states are reopening I think USCIS field offices will open from June 4th. I don’t think they will extend the closure this time. Atleast they should do the zoom/online meeting option. It just makes the backlog even further.
