Does the website let you look at cases near you?

Yeah but not hundreds at a time, you have to sit there and put in the numbers on your own, for each receipt number, one by one.

We are EAC1990-091-xxx, biometrics completed June 12, transferred to Potomac Feb 6th. No word since.

Ours is close. EAC1990-09x-xxx moved to Potomac on Feb 20th. No word since either. Seems a lot of those transferred to Potomac have not heard anything.

Just became eligible for N-400 so I applied today anyway. :)

An I-751 application near by my case number (within 50 cases from mine) was denied today.

Approvals seem to have slowed down for the April and May filers.

Denied right away ? I thought they will send notice of intent to deny, before denying the application.

That's crazy, they must not have sent much of anything with their petition.

I do believe things have slowed down a little, it's been so quiet in this thread and others lately. The WAC receipt numbers close to my own number that I have followed for a while now have stopped updating too. There was a lot of action with approvals and RFEs in March and beginning of April, now nothing is happening.

Welcome to the N-400 May 2020 filers thread. 👍

Things have definitely slowed down lately. In March and early April cases were processed pretty fast. Late April the approvals/RFEs have slowed down drastically. There is no action next to my case (+/- 1,000) cases but some action outside of that window. Weird.

It's possible. But you'd think it would have changed it for the better if so, since they've halted other processes. Who knows at this point, I will never understand the immigration process and the processing times. Too complicated for my brain. 😝

Are you planning on waiting for the ROC to be approved before filing the N-400? That was my plan, I wanted the ROC done and dusted first.

Could it be because you applied for N400? or Because IOs are working in batches of same case in a month, then next batch of different cases in next month?

If anything, it should have sped up the process. Maybe it has to do with less incentives, like lack of bonus or overtime for IOs if they complete certain number of cases in a given period of time. IDK

It’s possible. However, it still makes me wonder why would they skip the whole batch of cases (about 1,000-2,000 cases) and when will they get back to them?

Maybe those 1000-2000 cases were assigned to a particular IO, and that person is slow or is on a PTO
