Hi! Long time reader - first time poster. Is anyone with an EAC receipt number seeing any movement? I'm seeing people who mailed a lot later than me approved, and on the tracker app I'm not seeing any numbers within 500 of me having any movement. Thoughts?

We also filed at EAC but have not yet been approved. Our case was transferred to the National Benefits Center on March 24, which normally indicates a pending interview (I think). However, the letter we received indicated it was to ease the caseload backlog at EAC. But...still waiting....

We mailed the ROC package on April 27, 2019 and received a priority date of May 2, 2019. How about you?

It's almost as if covid-19 has sped things up. Makes me wonder if the people who normally work at field offices and interview people, now instead work on approving cases without interview. If maybe USCIS has divided the work on more people now, those who no longer can perform their regular tasks now do other things instead.

Hi, am new on this forum,..congratulations to all those being approved without interview.

I have a quick question .

RECIEPT NUMBER SRC1990356×××

RECEIVE Date 04/16/2019

NOTICE Data 05/06/2019.

I have been checking my tracker everyday, do you feel I am still withing the approval timeframe and also how do you check how close you are to recieving your 10 year green card with the reciept number.

There is unfortunately no way of knowing how long it'll take. Even when you see cases close to your own receipt number getting approvals doesn't mean that your case is anywhere near an approval. But it give a bit of hope at least, knowing that they're now working on cases from around the time you filed.

Just remember that it's not always about the receipt number. It's about the service center, they all have different processing times. Someone can for instance have a LIN receipt number, but was later transferred to WAC. That person can't compare with other cases at the Nebraska service center (LIN) as their case is now at the California service center (WAC).

Thanks For the clarification :)  I understand that. I just thought that the USCIS only load transfers cases between the regional centers (unless it is a combo with N400). Also, have anyone of you seen cases in the tracker “disappear?” I remember seeing some cases approved close to my number but today I haven’t seen those. Just wonder what happened to those.

Not sure what you mean by regional centers, all the service centers are very far apart, spread over the whole country. Cases that doesn't require an interview can be sent to any of the service centers in a work load transfer, whatever service center can handle more cases at the time.

As it states field offices I think it’s transferring to a local city offices...not to a different Service centers...will see...

Yeah field offices are very different from service centers. Field offices are the local ones, and to a degree I guess it makes sense if cases are sent there since the people who normally conduct interviews at these offices now need other tasks to do. So now maybe they can make decisions on cases that hopefully won't require interviews? I feel like a lot of things have sped up a lot during Corona, maybe that's why.
