WAC filers with NOA1 dates of around 24-25 April 2019 keep getting updates in the case tracker app. A few RFEs but mostly approvals.

I have been following these cases from the day I filed, these receipt numbers are right around my own number. So when I started following them they all said "case received" and the date they were received. Same date that I filed. Now they don't show the received date anymore as they have had new updates since, such as fingerprint received, RFE or approval.

My husband applied in April 2019 (Philippines born).  I think was Vermont Service Center. He did fingerprints, and then not a peep for almost a year. We just got the letter that he was approved for removal of conditions! Did not have to do an interview (we did one for the I-485). I was expecting to wait 18 months. Hopefully other approvals start rolling in!

Hi all! New to this forum.

I-751 (WAC) received 4/29/2019

Biometrics early Dec/2019

RFE 4/8/2020

The two cases before mine were approved, so it’s disheartening to see mine result in a RFE. Are RFEs common?

Also, what happens if waiting for results go beyond the extension allowance timeframe and we are not applying for citizenship (for now)? Does that mean my husband is out of status when the 18 months is over and we still havent received the final decision?

My initial documentation was insufficient due to the lack of it showing constant proof over the period of the two years. I guess I was too conservation with how much I included after seeing the thick packets some other couples have posted on these forums. I plan to submit lots of evidence this round.

Received my biometrics appointment on Friday for December 6th.

Hey everyone, I was just approved today!  No RFE and no interview!  Good luck to everyone, now onto citizenship and the long wait at the Seattle office.

Filed April 29, 2019  California office.

Hi guys! Does anyone know if your I-751 is still pending and you apply for naturalization, will your I-751 be immediately transferred to a local office or will it be processed independently until there is a need for an interview and then they will combine two cases?

I don't know but I'm not going to take the chance. I will wait with the N-400 for now, until interviews are being conducted again or the ROC is approved. Would suck to file the N-400 and your i-751 puts on hold while waiting for combo interview, nobody knows how long that'll take.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. If this is the case, I will wait to file my N-400 application as well.

Yeah it seems like when people still have a pending i-751 and file the N-400, their i-751 case status updates to show the case was transferred. That means the case is going to the local field office for a combo interview. I don't know if that's still the case now during covid-19, but I'm not taking that risk, I'd rather wait with the N-400 if it means that my ROC gets processed instead.
