I resubmitted my spouse docs which was delivered 2 weeks ago. I still haven't received any confirmation. Any idea why? I'm getting worried.

Yes, we've reached the "hurry up and wait" stage. Hubby did his biometrics earlier this week (June 4); now we settle in for the long wait.

Hey Guys, 

 

USCIS received our package on March 29th and on April 9th the case was received, shortly thereafter we got the extension letter.  Today I received a noticed that the Document was returned to USCIS (post office returned it). Could this be a RFE? or more likely a biometrics appointment? If it was a RFE would it say so on the website?

Probably biometrics......imo.....

EDIT:  My wife never received any site update before receiving her bio appointment letter......it just suddenly appeared in the mail.

For RFE the website should update, yes. Should. It doesn't always work though.

 

For biometrics appointment, no, the website won't show anything until after the biometrics (if at all, like I said, the case status updates don't always work).

Hello all, we received biometrics letter 6-5. 1 weeks notice for appointment 6-12. Today status updated to fingerprint review completed.

Ah-- I'm alive. Still no sign of the biometrics letter. Not too mad about it, saves me a vacation day if they decide to reuse my biometrics from AOS. 🤣

Thousands and thousands of other cases, yes. They will ask for your biometrics when they need them, you still have a long wait until someone even looks at your case. So don't worry.

Hi everyone!

 

I have a question

 

I sent in my I-751 and it was received April 30th. I got a receipt in the mail stating they received it. They cashed my check May 6th. But I have not heard anything since the receipt letter. I check my case status online and all it says is: My case was received. 

 

How long did it take for you guys? Getting worried since I haven't gotten a biometrics appointment or anything else yet.
