It may sound petty but what you meany by "delivered" is your I 751 is delivered by carrier (i.e FedEx or USPS) or they perform initial review?

Because when I 751is physical delivered, they dont review it first but it takes couple of days to open the boxes, which is why NOA date is normally couple of days later.

My 90 windows kickoff is on April 13th, my package got delivered to AZ PO on April 12th. So technically it’s just 1 day earlier.

Nice to see you too :)

I included the below:

  • Copy of green card
  • Copy of our marriage certificate.
  • Two sworn affidavits by U.S. citizen family & friends, attesting to our relationship and marriage.
  • Copy of the tax statement / transcript for 2016 and 2017
  • A partial copy of our 2018 joint US tax return.
  • Copy of our W2.
  • Copy of our lease agreement.
  • Copy of our driving license showing our current address.
  • Summary of my life insurance policies (USA & India) showing my wife as beneficiary.
  • Copy of car insurance policy.
  • Copy of our bank statement showing a joint account.
  • Copy of our health insurance cards showing a joint policy.
  • Photos of our vacations / activities taken over two years

I filed 5 days early. I haven't received any letter from them. I received the photo album back saying they are returning it back as it's a format they can't place in my file folder for review by an officer during the adjudication process.

Thanks. And good Luck!

Nice to see you back here also.  Two years goes by quickly.  From what I see you should be in good shape.   I did include two notarized affidavits, one from a relative and one from a friend.  Good luck in the new wait.

Thanks & Good Luck

Can someone please confirm on the following?

  • Are affidavits crucial? I am not attaching affidavits, so want to know what the implications are
  • There is no need to attach a check for biometric fees for Spouse?Correct?
  • There is no need to attach 2X2 passport size photographs. Correct?

1.  The VJ guide says affidavits are not crucial.......I did not include any.

2.  Biometric fee must be paid....I combined both the I-751 fee and biometric fee in a single $680 check

3.  Not required.

Concur with Missileman.  I included 3 affidavits just because.  However, they are not considered to be "strong" evidence.  Better to include the "Joint" stuff.  It holds a lot more weight and is "strong" evidence.

Yay!!! I haven't checked in here in awhile, California is one of the fastest centers for I-751 I think.

I feel like everyone gets their extension letter really fast lately. I was super duper scared as I know some people that did not hear anything up until 1-3 months later. Pleasantly surprised most of us are receiving our extension letter within 2 weeks. Hurray USCIS.

Yeah it's really nice that things have sped up, especially since many of us need the extension letter to renew our drivers licenses etc. My license is only valid as long as my greencard, so I will send a copy of the extension letter with the renewal form this week.
