Hi everyone. I am filing I-751 from Minnesota (filing location is Phoenix for MN residents). However, I will be moving to NY in June (mailing location Texas). Should I send the application to Phoenix or Texas since I will be moving so shortly. Also, my wife is currently working in NY while I am training in MN. I will be joining her upon completion of my training.

Since you presently live in Minnesota and will be filing while you live in Minnesota, you should file in Phoenix.

I wrote my A-number on every single paper I sent in, every single page of evidence etc. Only because I'm hoping that if they drop any of my papers on the floor, they know which file to add it to, if they even bother.

That's a great reason to write the A-number on evidence. We may do that, too.

Like the others, I didn't sign anything except the cover letter and the form. I don't think signing the evidence would make a difference, it's not like it would authenticate it or anything. Makes more sense to write the A-number on it as @Scandi has done.

For those who wrote the A-number on everything--did you write your spouse's name, too, or just the A-number? I assume only the A-number is needed as that would locate the spouse in the system, but maybe the name would be appreciated?

Nope.  Took only 30 minutes total time in the USCIS office.......They were friendly and efficient in the Dallas North ASC.

Just sent off my documents today.  Of course the plan was to send it on the first day my window was open, the 15th, but I didn't have the motivation to get it done by then.  Package is supposed to be delivered on Monday.

We've officially filed the ROC petition--exactly three months before the two-year conditional card expires. USPS estimates the package will arrive on Monday, so we will be exactly 90 days from the date of expiration when counting on the calendar. It will be interesting to see if the ROC process goes more quickly than AOS based on our location (relocated to DC from MN last year).

My wife's I-751 was delivered and picked up on a Saturday......but it was one day later than they first estimated.....🤣

Missileman, can you please state what the I-797 extension letter states specifically? I am applying for a UK visa and needed to know if it explicitly states that I can use this document for travel and the document is valid till xx date. I am concerned my UK visa will be rejected without this.

It says " Your conditional resident status is extended by 18 months from the expiration date on your Form I-551, Permanent Resident Card.  During this extension, you are authorized to work and travel.  This notice, presented with your expired Permanent Resident Card, is evidence of your status and work authorization."

 We sent our package on April 10th and delivered to AZ P.O ,via USPS On April 12th @ 11:30 AM . Package Delivered one day before 90 days window kickoff (we included money order).Till now we haven’t received any text/email/letter. People who sent package weeks later then us are receiving confirmations, so we are kinda afraid about our package.

You might be lucky, but there's also a chance the package is on its way back to you. Is there a reason you filed too early?
