Some yes, some no.  It depends on how recent your biometrics were.  If you did CR-1 from abroad rather than AOS, seems like everyone has to go.

My husband did biometrics at the local office here when he did an I-90, but got the letter for biometrics again just this past week. Regardless of getting called for biometrics or not, they keep the fee anyway...it does seem a little random who gets called and who doesn't.

I did my biometrics 10months ago for I-90, and received a letter 2 weeks ago saying they are able to reuse my previous captured biometrics.

So then I suppose everyone should be getting some sort of a letter regarding biometrics anyway? Either can be re-used or appointment.

I absolutely agree.  All of my evidence is photocopied, except for the Affidavits, which are origianl documents.  For my affidavits, I had each person get the same document notarized twice.  That way I would have an original at the interview if needed.

 

Do the affidavits need to be notarized or is an original copy with ink signature and relevant contact information okay?

Also, how have some of you "hidden" your timelines in your signature? Mine is getting rather long with K-1, AOS, and now ROC and I don't want everyone to have to continue scrolling past all of the info in my signature. 😰

Haha, I am going to take a 15,5 month nap! (Or 23 months, if it takes THAT long) I'm excited actually, it's one step closer to citizenship.

I'm happy to see some old faces in here and going through the process all together again

Interesting, my husband's was over a year ago already...so maybe that's why he got an appointment to redo them.
