NVC is frustrating me seriously, we called them yesterday, they said everything is ok. I just checked their website this morning and saw that my husband  2017 tax transcript that was accepted has been rejected. No message left, I think they now want 2018 transcript. He made 32k now, so do you think our joint sponsor needs to submit his 2018 tax transcripts too, because I don't think we need him for 2018.

I noticed two unopened docs changed from submitted to accepted yesterday as well but the resubmitted docs were not opened. Idk how they do it? Like review 1-2 docs and accept it, then move to another applicant and come back again to our  files after? 🤷🏻‍♀️

That's crazy! My understanding when I spoke with the IRS to get my 2017 transcript was that 2018 transcripts won't be available until at least June.

Do you mind me asking, what documents did you had to resubmit?

I am only waiting for them to accept my "proof of domicile" as everything else has been accepted already.

I resubmitted tax schedule. Now they have rejected my husband 2017 tax transcript that was accepted in February even though they're yet to review the one I submitted.

So on the last request from the NVC they wanted you to resubmit tax transcript only? Or did they asked for anything else?

Also, when did you resubmitted last?

Tax schedule not transcript

Mind my ignorance, what's a tax schedule and why will they request that? Isn't transcripts sufficient?

Yes. April 1- initial submission of everything

April 17- everything ACCEPTED except, two rejected and two unopened I guess coz it was SUBMITTED still.

April 17 same day we resubmitted rejected docs

April 24- the two unopened last april 17 changed from Submitted to ACCEPTED but the resubmitted docs still says SUBMITTED. For sure they were on our file yesterday because thu changed the two unopened or unreviewed from submitted to accepted but the resubmitted docs no change. Does it mean, they will go back another day to review the rest? No note or e-mail about the change.

So I just called the NVC right when they opened at 9am. I was on hold for only 5 minutes.

I was told the same thing, that our case in in queue to be review. I asked to see if our case is under "administrative processing" which when that happens that means it has been escalated as they need like a supervisor to review it. Luckily our case is NOT under administrative processing and was told that I just needed to wait until this coming Monday (which is 3 weeks).

I was also told that if by Monday I don't hear anything, to call back on Tuesday to have my case escalate it.

Will see!

That is so weird. How long can it take them to check the remaining two docs.
