NVC Filers - April 2019

So my I-864 I just uploaded page 1-8 instead of 1-10 so the last two pages were needed. 

 

Then my husbands police certificate, he only send me the front page and they asked for both sides of the document and/or any visible seals. My husband later told me that there are two seal stamps in the back after I submitted all my docs. So scanned the back page and uploaded.

 

Lastly my marriage certificate, because it was a Muslim marriage in my country we have two documents. A marriage license and a marriage certificate. I submitted the certificate and they said it’s not an acceptable document. Had to submit the original in my language and then another document for the English translation. 

 

Easy fixes but now gotta wait again. I’m glad it’s only those and not more. Everything else was accepted. Best of luck.

Mine is 2 weeks

Haha inshallah. They took a week to review my documents, now I’m not so sure how long resubmitted documents will take to review. I hope within a week or two. Praying. Good luck to ya.

Wow! NVC review was much faster in your case! Which marriage license you are referring to? Is that Nikahnama? I am from Bangladesh and submitted my parents Nikahnama with translation and Marriage certificate too. Hope these will convince NVC.

Yea it’s the nikahnama. I didn’t wanted to submit both Bangla and English so I opted in to submitting the marriage certificate. But they will only accept the nikahnama. Best of luck to ya. 😊

Documents reviewed: April 23rd 

oh wow... do you know why they were rejected.... how soon can you fix so you can resubmit. if you dont know why, have you tried to call them.

All pages of the I-864 must be submitted even if they are blank. Please replace this form with all the pages.

 

I submitted all the pages until the signature page- page 8 of 10. Does that mean I need to also send the last couple pages that has interpreter, preparer, additional info etc- page 9 and 10?

yes, all pages must be submitted, 10 pages... doesnt matter if they are blank

The reasons were on my ceac account and I got an email about messages on my account. I corrected the problem within an hour or so after getting the email.

April 12th

i uploaded the w2s form they requested . I’m hoping it doesn’t take another 12 days for review . Next Friday makes a year since I initially filed
