Are you still waiting or resubmitted? Initial doc sent was on March 21st and RFE did on April 1st.

I first resubmitted on March 15th (tax transcript) and got a response yesterday April 8th with everything approved but now they asked for “proof of domicile”.

 

Since my spouse and I live together in Brazil, our lawyers submitted yesterday April 8th a signed affidavit from me stating that we will have an address in the US before we move to the US. Our lawyers said that they have used this type of affidavit before on other clients to prove domicile and got approvals.

 

BTW before we got a response from NVC yesterday I called them last Friday as it was 3 weeks since we resubmitted and I was told that our case was in “administrative processing”. I asked to speak with a supervisor, which I did and she went ahead and escalated our case. I believe it worked speaking to a supervisor as we got a response yesterday 🙂

Does anyone know if you have to pay both sets of fees before you can start filling out the DS-260? Can I just pay the IV fee and work on it, or will it be locked until I pay them both?

NVC sent an email today with our NVC case number!  We are very excited and will start to upload documents and pay fees in the next few days.  NOA2 February 20, NVC received file March 7, NVC case number assigned today April 9!  Every little victory is worth celebrating!  Now on to the document scanning and uploading process via CEAC.  Best of luck everyone!

Wt she meant was that they haven’t received ur package yet from uscis ... give it a week from when it was sent to call again.. mine was sent March 14 n received March 21

Your uscis case status should change to “sent to department of state “ n it will tell u da date it was sent then give it abt a week n call nvc to find out if they received it yet

NB- Nvc will not notify u wen they receive it u have to call n find out

-if ur case status dsnt say sent to department of State then ur approved petition is still sitting at uscis

- use the main uscis personal account case tracker cus dts accurate n up to date
