I submitted docs on March 23 and I just logged in and saw I have a message that says “All required applicant documents have been received and approved.” I haven’t gotten an email yet.

Does this mean the case is completed?

Edit: When I click on the message, it says DOCUMENTARILY QUALIFIED

Yes congratulations 👍

Yes, you are case complete. All you have to do now is to wait for an interview. Congrats.

Thank God. So finally we got the long awaited documentarily qualified email. What an exhausting journey it was. After getting empty notifications twice. Yours on its way!

Only certain countries require it. You can check on the dept of state website to find out about yours. Mine is Nigeria.

Can you kindly provide the link for that website to check if my husband's country requires fingerprinting?

There is an option of adding a joint sponsor right above your name. Once on CEAC, you will see it.

No problem.  I just wanted to give you my experience and theory about it.  Thought you would prefer that over a generic positive comment since I was in the same boat.

Regarding email, you can do that but it took me a week to get a response from them, and it was a generic one.  I would just call every other day if I'm anxious about it.  Good part is that 8 weeks is almost up since the receipt date.  So you can really get their attention by then if you don't have case #.

Thank you! I was finally able to get in touch with them on the phone today. Turns out my case number was sent out on the 14th of March via mail and I hadn't received it. They were able to give us the number over the phone

Hello, I just wanted to share that my visa has been approved today! I would like to thank everyone here who has helped me thru this process. Me and my husband waited a little over a year for this process. Our journey continues. Praise the Lord.

I'll just be around the corner if anyone has questions, if i can be of help.

Have a nice day everyone. Hang in there, right timing will come. God bless.

Finally, CONGRATULATIONS:dancing::dancing:

So, I submitted my documents on April 1st. NVC accepted all documents except for my spouse birth and our marriage certificate.

The feedback says says scan document upright and horizontally. I am not sure what they are speaking about because the documents were upright and could have been read left to right.

This process makes me sick. Anyone else has the same situation. This is the only hold up for me.
