3 Weeks is way to long to wait for just re submission of the correct documents.

I just called today and they told me they have 3 weeks to check resubmitted documents.  I think they just say 3 weeks but it is sooner.

Congratulations 🎉

Just wondering if anyone could help me with regards to calling the NVC. We've tried calling early in the morning and just before. When we call a message is played saying all the customer service officers are busy and other info is given, then a female voice speaks in another language then I'm cut of the line. That has happened all day to us.

Idk if we're calling the right number. Could someone post the number for me please?

They said they had received our case at 15 February and we still have no update. Tried emailing last week Monday, still no response 😔

I called 5 times today and the last time I was given the option to press 1 for English and then 5 because I was looking for information on my case after it has reached CEAC site.  You just have to keep calling back.  After pressing 5 I was on hold for another 30 minutes until someone answered me.  They lady was very polite and said they had up to 3 weeks to review submitted documentation.

Frustrating. We responded to an RFE on the 8th of march, got a notification email from NVC to check CEAC, there was nothing there. Again Monday 1st April, got another email notification from NVC to check CEAC, there was still nothing. This is weird. Anyone with any clues please?

I had to resubmit my husband's passport  bc it was blurry. I did that on March 23rd.  I called today and they told me they have up to 3 weeks to check submitted documentation.  it hasn't even been 2 weeks yet  So I'm just waiting!!

Did the rep say anything in what to do if the wait has been longer than 3 weeks?

For me it will be 3 weeks tomorrow since I resubmitted my tax transcripts and still nothing.

hoping to hear something tomorrow 🤞🏽🙏🏽

call back after the time frame has been reached.  They can tell when you submitted it so I'm sure if you do not hear by tomorrow and you call they will probably escalate it.

Just wanted some clarification. When we received our case number, do we pay the fees first and then choose an agent? Also how long will the payments take to process on the website?

No longer choosing an agent unless you have a lawyer. and it takes about 2-3 business days for your payment to process.

I am really worried now about  my 2018 Tax Transcript ! So from all these recent post, learned that NVC is now accepting only Tax transcript and rejecting Tax Return with W2. So, I got my Case no# last week from NVC  and about to upload  the I864 supporting documents. I filed 2018 Tax on March 2 and still didn’t receive refund as well as transcript. So, I cant submit 2018 transcript anyway since its unavailable. I contacted IRS and they asked me to send some simple Health insurance  document (bad luck!) which I did. They told it may take 2 months or more to get Tax Transcript! So, I don’t know what to do with NVC and with consulate (hope so it'll be available then) if NVC approves. I have all previous years Tax Transcripts  with me and really wondering what to send to NVC? 2018 Tax return and W2? Anyone  similar situation or any advise?

I have just started uploading docs. I have a joint sponsor and there is a proof needed for domicile. Do I need to submit this even if the person is living in the US? I already submitted his legal status proof under LPR.

What do I do under domicile?

NVC is only requesting either 2017 OR 2018 (since 2018 transcripts are not yet ready by the IRS). So if you only have 2017 transcripts you are good.

Wow! Thanks Carlos for your reply! Yes I have all previous Transcripts available and lets see how NVC responds with last 2 years transcripts and 2018 return with W2!

You will be fine. For me I first submitted the tax returns and they were rejected as they wanted 2017 OR 2018 transcripts.

I resubmitted the 2017 transcript on March 15th and I am still waiting for them to review......
