Does anyone know what you can do if you can not obtain a document that NVC is requesting... its an immigration file that is needed.  The previous attorney that did his case has it. We are unable to locate him. He doesnt even have his A-number.. FIOA can take up to a year to get. We do have his old passport and there is some documentation on it. and watch section of ina was violated .  and thats all he has.  Any Help at all would be appreciated.

Congratulations 🎉

Just wondering if anyone could help me with regards to calling the NVC. We've tried calling early in the morning and just before. When we call a message is played saying all the customer service officers are busy and other info is given, then a female voice speaks in another language then I'm cut of the line. That has happened all day to us.

Idk if we're calling the right number. Could someone post the number for me please?

They said they had received our case at 15 February and we still have no update. Tried emailing last week Monday, still no response 😔

I got lucky and called their number at 9am EST. Had to wait a while but they picked up. (603) 334-0700 is there number. I tried calling other times of the day but because of work I couldn’t wait. 9am sharp did the trick for me.

Even I was surprised by the 1 day speed. But there is no mistake, Case received April 1st and given case number in two days. Maybe because it's been more than 6 weeks since noa2.

Unfortunately, you really have to give NVC exactly what they are asking for. What immigration file are they requesting? Can't you request another from the original source where you got it?

Just wanted some clarification. When we received our case number, do we pay the fees first and then choose an agent? Also how long will the payments take to process on the website?

3 to 4 business days. I don’t think choosing an agent is needed if it’s been indicted already on the 130. I didn’t have to choose one.
