Wow thats the hard one ,i think he went on all the way to the last level but kudos and congratulations to you to still get through out of it. Sometime  they really go out with all guns out until you surrender or get something out of you a single reason to deny you but you stand through all of this and came out as winner.

Thank you so much. I am just glad its over

Lol same thing here I laughed to think imagine if we had waited for the letter that would have been a setback

My friend got his interview letter delivered several days after he was done with his interview.

That’s why emails are always the best option

Got all prepared for my interview this Tuesday. Finally after rescheduling a 4 week delay with my interview. But should be all good now.
Couldnt collect the transcrips on time. So I hope w2 and 1040s are enough.

How much time does it take to get the visa and leave after the interview? My interview is on the 30th. Would it be possible to leave 1,5 to 2 weeks after that?

hi to those who are preparing for interview, did any of you receive a certain checklist on what documents to bring for the interview and also what is needed to be scanned and uploaded on the ceac portal? I'm just wondering coz I have and in the said email they put a check on the form i64ez that i need to scan and upload it before interview but the thing is its already been uploaded before i even received the email. did any of you experience this? thanks guys.

I think it depends on the embassy. My embassy sent me an email saying I didn’t need to bring the I-864 at all but requested some extra documents that the NVC had not asked for like proof of my ability to earn an income in the US. You should also go to this page and choose your embassy and it should have instructions:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts.html

My embassy is very good about answering questions by phone call or email too so hopefully other embassies will be - you should try that if you’re receiving confusing information.

All the best! :)

I did see an “A#” at the end of the email notice.  What is the significance of this?

It's an Alien Registration number.  It's just a  unique number the govt assigns to immigrants.

https://www.uscis.gov/tools/glossary/number

"An A-Number, also known as an Alien Registration Number or Alien Number, is a unique eight- or nine-digit number assigned to a noncitizen at the time their A-File is created. An A-Number is the letter “A” followed by eight or nine numbers (such as A012345678)."
