Hi everyone, I had my interview at the Lagos Consulate this morning.

And it was really good everyone before me got approved, the three women interviewing were very nice.

The CO asked me a few questions

When did I meet my wife

Was she born in the USA

When did she go to the USA

Did she go with family?

What kind of marriage did we have

Where did we get married

What does my wife do

What city does she live in.

It was a pretty smooth experience.

Congratulations 🎉

I am just wondering,

Does Interview Scheduling has anything to do with "Case Priority Date" ?

Or is it based on CC ???

I think it's based on CC (case became qualified)  and has to do with how busy an Embassy is. So two people with the same CC at NVC but different USEM might not necessarily be scheduled on same the day or week. When an interview slot becomes available at the USEM, interview will be scheduled in at least one month in advance.

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview.html

"Once your case becomes qualified for an interview, NVC will work with the appropriate U.S. Embassy or Consulate to schedule an appointment for you.

The U.S. Embassy or Consulate General tells NVC what dates they are holding interviews, and NVC fills these appointments in a first-in, first-out manner."

Thank you @nastra30

I might have to wait more as I can see For Mumbai Consulate, CC from March 1 has not been scheduled for Interview.

Its hard to wait.

Hope your'e going well.

Hi...hope everyone is having a great day. CC was on the 19th of March, 2 weeks after my case status is still showing "AT NVC" is anyone else experiencing this? If you have passed this stage, when did your status changed on CEAC? I will appreciate any explanation regarding this please 🙏🙏

I am also on the same ship .... my cc 15th march and status shows AT NVC

Hello

I got my CC on Feb. 11th for EB2 category; my embassy is in Seoul - South Korea.

My online case status still says "At NVC" and when I called them today they said "no interview date given yet".

I see another person with EB2 in South Korea listed with CC on March 8th and waiting...

Seems like there are generally delays this March as the list looks empty?
