Hi All, Happy Tuesday! I also had my interview today in Montreal, Canada. I was approved!

I know there has been some confusion on the Tax Transcripts now that we are past April 15th. I only had to provide the tax transcript we submitted to NVC and the W2 for that year as well. I was over prepared with the extension paperwork for 2018, and tax transcripts for 2016 as well as 2015 - but they were not needed.

Just some advice, try to be organized before you go. I did see many people struggling with a stack of disorganized paperwork that were sent away from the first step as they did not have the correct paperwork ready!

Good luck to all of those waiting for interviews! It was not nearly as stressful as I thought it may be.

Congrats and thanks for sharing your experience.

Good luck with the process! Try to be patient, it's stressful but the outcome is worth it.

Amazing news! Congratulations guys!

Reading these reviews is like breathing fresh air after being stuck in a polluted place for over a month. This gives me so much hope.

So I'm a little worried. When I first checked the status it said "your interview has been scheduled and you have received notification with the interview details" or something like that. Now when I check it says "Your case is ready for your interview when scheduled at the U.S. Consular section. If you have already scheduled an appointment for an interview, please prepare your documents as directed in your appointment letter and appear at the consulate on the appointed date and time. Otherwise, please wait until you have been notified of your interview appointment. Additional information about how Immigrant Visa interview appointments are scheduled can be found at..." Why is it worded differently now? As if my interview is no longer scheduled???

This sounds like wording for a K1. I'm confused now.

Does it say Ready? If so, it's ready for interview at USEM.

Yeah it says ready.  But my interview is already scheduled for May 21. So I'm confused about why the wording changed from "you have received your interview appointment letter" to "now ready to schedule an interview/if you have scheduled an interview"

It was scheduled but now your file is actually ready AKA sitting at USEM and waiting for you to show up on 21st May.

Because if it was an expedite, then when it says Ready at the USEM that's when you schedule your appointment with the USEM; Expedite cases are not assigned interview dates by NVC. But if your appointment was scheduled by NVC before they sent it to the USEM then Ready means basically your case pretty much is set and ready for you to come on your assigned date.
