Is there anyone whose spouse is in the Dominican Republic and got their medical exam done already? I’m wondering about the price for someone who doesn’t have vaccination records. My husband is going this Wednesday and we want to make sure he has enough money to pay for the exam.

Hi! I went last week and it’s 165$ for someone who doesnt have a vacccination record. Plus 285$ for the rest of the medical exams. A total of 450$.

Very possible, my visa was issued 1 day after my interview, meaning it was printed a day after my interview, and I was able to pick it up 2days after from DHL, making a total of four (4) days from approval to having Visa and passport in hand.

Goodluck

thank you for all the replies! highly appreciated them. this makes me feel more excited! thanks again.

450 sounds a lot better than 580. Which clinic did you go to?

The way I understand it is that early in the mornings they release open appointments for the day at all the embassy’s. I’m talking early in the morning local embsssy time. That’s the way it was in Tunisia and also egypt!🤷🏻‍♀️ Hope that helps.

My parents immigration visa interview is scheduled on April 26,2019 for IR5 category, Mumbai Embassy. I scheduled OFC(Biometrics) appointment before the medical examination of my parents and OFC appointment is schedule on April 25,2019.

But during medical examination, my mother exam is cleared but my father has to do some tests to clear the medical exam. So the medical officer told my father that his interview date will be cancelled and my mother has to go interview alone on April 26,2019.

I scheduled OFC appointment for my father and mother to gather on April 25,2019. My question is my mother can  do OFC alone or not since my father visa interview will be postponed by medical officer ? Or my father can go for OFC appointment with my mother even if his visa interview is postponed ?

Note: On ustraveldocs.com website (OFC appointment confirmation page), my father is primary applicant for OFC appointment.

They should still let you mother in for biometrics. You filed two separate petitions for them, even though they were given the interview date on the same day. She will need her original passport, DS 260 Confirmation page and appointment confirmation printout. I am sure they will let her in and if asked she can explain that situation.
