Do you know if anyone was allowed in to accompany their beneficiaries inside?

Only their spouses with USA passport and i suppose that would also only be with a prior appointment. There is no sitting place outside the embassy for the people accompanying you. They have to sit or stand across the road on the pavement. Make sure you read all the instructions of what you can or cannot take inside just the embassy to reduce any extra time. I saw people with wedding dvds being told off at the security and they had to go out and renter again. Not even a pendrive is allowed inside.

Btw how much time it took you from start to finish, at what time you got free from the embassy?

That is why i said “I suppose”, i never said i am sure. I dint get into it because my wife wasn’t here with me at the interview. But I definitely saw 2-3 spouses there.but just to be sure you could call up the embassy and ask.

M sure I shouldn’t be asked this question because i was the only one who waited like 4 hours plus for my interview to happen hahha. It was so frustrating.I don’t what exactly happened but somehow my token number was missed and only my number was called like 4 hours later. Everyone else went with the flow. So from start to finish , normally you should be out around 2 hours. Unless your takes a longer time.

Ok thanks bcoz m planning to return back on same day so hopefully my wife will be done by 12 pm so we have enough time to go to our hotel and then to airport to catch our return flight.

I have seen people going with their spouses when I went for tourist Visa interview. Even read several reviews here where they were let in with just the passport. ANULIS called the embassy and they said no to her. I am going to try to take my husband anyway. If they don't allow, he can go back to the hotel. But from what I have read, they did allow petitioners in.

Yea thats surprising why they didnt let him in but one of myy friend just had a interview for his wife and he went inside with her with no issues at all.unless he wasnt the petitioner or hold us passport with him,i dont see any reason not to let him go inside

Her husband didn't go for the interview yet. It's on the same date as mine May 16th. She hasn't booked her flight yet so she wanted to confirm if she will be allowed in or not with her husband. She called the embassy and they said no to her for that. But from what I have read, seen and on their instructions as well the petitioner is allowed inside. She is offline now but I'm sure whenever she comes online and reads those instructions she will be glad.
