Got approved today at Mumbai consulate for my CR1 visa. Just wanted to thank the VJ community for all the help. Will put a thorough review in a day or two on my timeline. Basically took 5-8 minutes. Never looked at any documents i had with me (taxes , w2, transcripts, job letter, pay stubs, proof of all the communication like whatsapp,fb,facetime, call)

The only thing they looked at was a little photo album with our photos of wedding reception and travels. I suppose they judge you with how you respond to the questions and how confident you are.

thank you once again :)

Congratulations! That's great news. I am so happy for you!! Will wait to read your detailed embassy review. Take your time though!

I'm wondering if anyone knows if once someone enters the US on a IR-1 visa, can they leave the country for a short period of time (ie. less than a month) if they haven't received their green card yet and return without any issues? Does anyone have any experience doing this?

3/1/2021 - I-751 Filed

3/29/2021 - NOA Received

7/29/2021 - Biometrics

12/16/2021 - Case ready to be scheduled for interview

Ok .... thank you for timely responce ....

One more thing .... when i got approval notice in november my case ceac was showing CR1, then in couple of months it started showing IR1 in ceac

Yes u been married over 2 years so your green card would be 10 years and she doesn't have to remove any conditions
