They said because I requested for a supervisor call, that is the supervisor that will give the final decision

I’m not talking abut a decision, just that they have access to see if you’re in line for an interview or not. If not, then You are not case complete yet

That is really puzzling me...if they havent requested anything else and all documents are accepted then it should say documentarily qualified

I’ve seen this with some cases put in AP at NVC

Oh is that so then yeah she have to stay for one extra day .

Yes! Ask her to call up the hospital tomorrow morning and ask how long it takes to get the reports. If she doesn't have any other health issues, which I assume she doesn't she should get it the next day unless they have some technical issues and delay the reports. Also, when you fill out the medical form online and get a response with the appointment date and time, they usually mention how long it may take to get the reports.

And sorry for the typo in the previous post. I meant to type "collect".

So do they give appointments on phone or have to fill some form online like you mentioned

I had to fill out an online form and the doctor responded back with the appointment details. I don't know about Delhi though. Ask your wife to call them up and ask.

Yes it is ir2 could not find a topic for this visa class in forum

I’m IR2 and NVC scheduled the interview for me so I think it’s best you call them to verify what they told you, call NVC and your embassy to make sure you are on the same page cause there might be miscommunication

HEARD AND READ somewhere a while back that they give appointments over phone and it could take 5-7 days to get the reports. Maybe they have improved now. But hey, please don't trust what I read. Just call them up and ask and also update us here. They will know better.

Yeah thanks .i will ask her to call them tomorrow morning and they can guide her on next steps regarding how to setup appointment date and time and on how long it will take to get the reports back so she can plan accordingly.

Hey msafiri, we are also waiting for the website to open up so we can book an appointment at Nairobi embassy for k1, been watching it for almost 2 months and yet they keep saying it will open up.

Hi guys; unless I'm mistaken I thought NVC books the embassy appointment for the applicant and then you have to book your medical exam appointment after that but before the interview. Our case was completed on March 8th and NVC still says they are waiting for slots to open up in Nairobi embassy for them to book the appointment for us.

That's exactly how CR-1s are normally done.
