I sincerely hope and pray that you hear positive news soon. I know NVC wait times are very long but keep trying to call until you get through to a supervisor. I usually called them around 7-8 pm and past 11.30 pm (Indian time). The wait is usually a little shorter then. I wish you all the best!

Thank you! We both called and got told that by the reps that "we can't speak for other cases. You will be scheduled for an interview when your embassy has an opening". This is exactly what they said last month!! We asked for a supervisor and both of us got told that none of the supervisors are available and took our number to call back ( and then told us that that supervisor call back will take 3 weeks). I am just baffled! We are also checking with our lawyer what to do here. How else can we escalate?

Sorry! I don't know of any other way. You can try calling back again later tonight. I don't think a lawyer will be able to do anything much at this point. Make email inquiries as well. Put your case number, petitioner and beneficiary names and dob, explain your situation and ask them what's going on. I sent 4 emails. They didn't reply the first 2 times. The 3rd time they said case was complete (didn't include the official CC email though) and 4th time responded back with the interview letter.

Call your Senator's office and ask them to inquire about your case.  Most of them will do it.  At least here in CT they always advocate for immigrants.

Unacceptable BS excuse....get your congressman or senator liason involved...you're CR1..you should have gotten a date by now...make several service inquiries and keep calling supervisor...some agents will go and get a supervisor for you..I tried that callback thing..he called me back almost 2 weeks later🤬🤬

Unacceptable BS excuse.

Why is it BS?  The consulate has to give NVC the available dates before they can schedule interviews......unfortunately, it can take 3 months....

I'm also waiting over here for Nairobi Kenya and hoping they are not completely booked for May. Our CC date was March 8th and still no word on embassy date.

Congratulations to all who have received their embassy dates! It is encouraging to see progress.

Hey msafiri, we are also waiting for the website to open up so we can book an appointment at Nairobi embassy for k1, been watching it for almost 2 months and yet they keep saying it will open up.

have you been able to register yet? I get a message saying that the case doesn't have an interview scheduled.

No, I got the same message, maybe it’s too soon but will try again later. Did you manage to book your medical?
