Hopefully you get a much earlier date than the original one.

Me too - I had never actually been told an original interview date - I wonder / hypothesize, that in the NVC system with my case being complete but waiting for interview - they assign it an empty slot - which acts as a reminder in their system every month when they are scheduling who needs to be assigned.  An expedite puts the responsibility on the consulate and the consulate alone to schedule a date - so they cancel it in their system so it doesnt get double booked - again just a thought.

Come on dont say that, i am really hoping for today...🤣🤣😂😂😂

I can feel what you are going through. NVC is worse than USCIS. They got my Foreign Country of Chargebility wrong. Had to request review for that. Took them almost a month to correct it. Had to request supervisor review again because they didn't review our documents in 6 weeks. I was frustrated to a point where I started thinking that they have some sort of personal enemity with me and would tell my husband that people working there hate me. I would often come to Vj to vent. Hang in there! My love conquered their hatred, yours will too. Hehe 😛

Congratulations to all the people who got their interview dates today! That's great progress. I have a question that will help me manage my expectations....does NVC set interviews based on Visa category first then cc date? My case is F2B and was completed on March 8 and PD became current in Feb. If another case at the same embassy was completed on say March 20th but it is IR1...will they get an interview date before me because of their category?

Got cc on 29th March really hoping for a May date From the U.S. Embassy in Lagos Nigeria.

My hubby requested an expedite a few days before our cc, 2days ago they responded with a mail day it’s under review. Today an email was sent us that the expedited wasn’t approved., cos it wouldn’t be fair to people on the queue.

According to the mail it’s say NVC scheduled according to cc .

Im sad I just hope I still get a May date.

anyone here with such experience?
