Received email this morning stating that our request to expedite had been accepted and the case is being sent to the consulate for appointment scheduling.   I think the appointment cancelled message yesterday is just an artifact of the NVC handing the responsibility off at this stage from themselves to the embassy directly.   

 

Massive relief after the message yesterday about cancelling the appointment

I hope so too.

That's what I am feeling though. Last month it was around 15th that we saw a lot of progress particularly with Mumbai. I am hope and pray it's today and believe me on this I will be extremely glad if I turn out wrong.

Hopefully you get a much earlier date than the original one.
