This is a good question and I'd also like to know what people think. I've heard of appointment emails coming in the middle of the night (like 3am Eastern time) which makes me wonder how NVC sends them if their offices are closed at that time.

The emails come at non-working hour times, like Saturday, but it’s just a delay. They don’t actually work on Saturday. Also there’s no rhyme or reason as to why some emails are delayed. I called yesterday hoping maybe my email was just delayed, but in reality I just am not scheduled yet lol

It’s just a delay in the email. The NVC wiki page that a VJ person made in the past mentioned that. They only work M-F days I guess.

I did that and tbh there are like zero filers from my embassy lol currently I’m the only one waiting I think and obviously there are filers not on VJ, but it still gives a good estimate.  I would be surprised if our embassies were full. Last month and in February, NVC gave dates the 13 and 19. Currently it’s only the 11, so maybe we have time.

I’m in the same boat. As countries are concerned we are in Tunisia. I don’t see anyone on this list waiting. Not on visa journey and maybe one getting close to cc on another forum I’m on. So maybe just a few more days🤷🏻‍♀️

What other forums are there? I think I’m on a Facebook group for NVC, but I don’t use it

yeah, its just that i hate realizing that the day is done but still keeping my hopes up that maybe i'll still receive an email even late at night. this waiting game sucks! 😔

According to the supervisor I (the petitioner) spoke with today, NVC review documents up till 12am EST. I initially thought they close at 4pm. 

 

That probably explains why people can get their emails late night.

Yes. I received my case complete email at 3:10am on a Saturday and wasn't sure it was real but someone explained to me it was just a delay.
