I talked to NVC and she told me interviews are scheduled the beginning of each month until spots are full. Seems odd to me and maybe a little incorrect since only 2 people on VJ have gotten interview emails thus far in April 😬 and also it’s obvious that every month there are one or two days where like everyone on VJ receives the interview email date

Yea i wont listen to them ,people on call they dont have much information. They just read what you can obviously see on your ceac. I wish they should have tier 2 like in USCIS who can provide real time based answers . Anyhow NVC crushed my hope for this week ,lets hope we will all hear some good news by end of next week.

Okay, thank you. In the meantime only one or two people have posted for May.
So, we just can hope for next week? Or, from your experience, they send invites in the first week of the month only?

Last month a lot of people  got dates on the 13th of the month, but NVC gives the generic response of like ”we are scheduling for May”

I noticed today a filer from my embassy with a I-130 date back from 2016 (they must have delayed their NVC stage a year which is allowed) got an interview email date today for May.  I am wondering if that means now automatically that I won't get a May date since I did not receive an email. (My case complete was before theirs, but apparently that does not factor in)  Is it possible that the consulates open slots throughout the month and there will be a second round of dates assigned or did I miss this one for sure?

I see.

I know of a petitioner where the lawyer filed a lawsuit, specifically an APA claim, against the US government because the petition was stuck in “administrative processing” for more than 6 months.

The case was immediately processed and the person got the visa.

No I don't think that was the case with the person I saw on timelines. I just wasn't sure if I had missed the boat for my embassy's May scheduling or if it's possible that they could schedule me next week.  My case complete was first, but I guess it doesn't matter.
