Based on Case Complete. You PD date usually determines when in the month. Say someone who filed before you may get an earlier date in the month even though your Case Complete was first.

Seems like there are generally delays this March as the list looks empty?

Everyone should be calling. Be sure you ask specifically for your embassy.

 

Don't just say "Have you started scheduling?"

 

You need to ask "Have you started scheduling for _________________________?"

Does this generally mean that for example, my CC is 3/26 and another filer from my embassy is going to probably get CC this week.  In a scenario where it was between them and I for an interview spot, would I receive the first date available?  (Obviously I know there are filers from my embassy not on Visa Journey I am just making an example!)

 

Also on the same note, do you have any idea as to how NVC schedules?  I have noticed for my embassy at least, it seems super quiet and filers tend to not wait more than a month max, but I am getting worried now that I haven't heard anything.  Maybe my embassy has not yet sent the calendar for May... not sure when they send the calendars.

OOOH I think I misunderstood!  So even though my CC may be before another filer from my embassy, if they filed their I-130 petition before I did, they will receive an earlier date than me??

Thank you, I didn't put the 0 but somehow the website put it for me, I think it was pre-programmed since people would normally not know to do that. Thanks for your help, God bless you.

They have the their list of who is in interview queue for that embassy. Lined up by Case Complete so they all get that months interview date. And usually scheduled according to PD who gets first up 2nd so forth.
I have seen this happen all the time where we didn't see anyone get a date. It's a big old worth out there and VJ is but a drop in the big bucket.

Many embassies schedule all month constantly having slots to fill. The more busy ones usually once they start scheduling things get full within a day or 2.

That's why I am telling all you cal ask about your embassy and if they have started scheduling.

Yes, her PD became current in Feb so now just waiting for that embassy appointment.
