Question - My step daughter is now only waiting for an interview date to be assigned - while waiting her home country has been absolutely ravished by Cyclone Idai - while she does not live in the area hit hardest she does live outside this area - as health issues like cholera start to spread, my concern for her to leave the country increases.   We have already received case complete - is there any value in trying to expedite at this point or will it just cause more delays?

It won’t make too much of a difference for you at this point. Maybe 2 weeks difference, but probably not too much. Sorry about your situation

Hello

I got my CC on Feb. 11th for EB2 category; my embassy is in Seoul - South Korea.

My online case status still says "At NVC" and when I called them today they said "no interview date given yet".

I see another person with EB2 in South Korea listed with CC on March 8th and waiting...

Seems like there are generally delays this March as the list looks empty?

Hello all - any comment on this?

Doesn't it seem to take unusually long?

Thanks

Sometimes the CR1/IR1 get priority interview spot. I have seen other types of visa filers waiting longer to get scheduled. Good luck

I'm new to this group and trying to figure out the expected timeline for my sisters case which was completed by NVC on March 8th and we are still waiting for her to get an interview date. She is in the F2B category and the embassy is Nairobi. Am I in the right thread?

Most of us are CR1/ IR1 filers here.  You can certainly follow though.  Our timelines may be a little different than yours.  I have noticed some of the non-CR1/ IR1 visas take a little longer to get appointments.

Is the priority date current?

Yes, the priority date became current in February. I've called NVC and they told me the case is complete and in line for an interview appointment at the embassy.
