Awesome thread! I mailed in our I-129F April 8th and received NOA1 April 10th ❤️ Now we just wait and pray everything goes well.

I signed up for USPS mail which is a great way to track for whenever NOA2 will be sent.

Good luck everyone, and I can't wait to see when we all start receiving our NOA2🎉

Congrats to you both!

Just checked the new site and it says I was approved on July 1st!

Unfortunately my fiancee is sleeping so I can't let her know yet...

Good luck to everyone else who is waiting, I hope everyone's approvals come in quickly!

Congrats 🎊🎉!

We filed on april 1st and our status changed to Request for additional Evidence on June 28th. We are still waiting on the mail..

😓

It's  probably  something  simple a missed checked box  or document. Did you send in two letters of intent or one?

We hired an attorney to do it and check everything! Yes we sent two letters of intent with signatures.

We really don't know what could be missing....

The mail was sent last friday and still nothing in the mailbox, we will see when it arrives.

🤞

we hired one too and her assistant completely forgot about our case and had it sit on her desk for over 4 months.

we had everything ready November last year and i only found out about that on March. and when i asked when should i expect my NOA1 to arrive, she asked " what is that"

so if you asked me...  lawyers dont always know the best....

You are absolutely  correct lawyers  I guess are personal perference as most folks here in VJ would not hire one. There are exceptions  when you would need one, but for a simple non complicated  petition you can do it yourself. That includes agencies too!

I have been checking the case tracker app this whole time and no updates. Then I read about the “old” and “new” sites and decided to check it out and to my surprise it’s approved!! 😁

NOA1: April 15

Congratulations now make a beeline to the July August 2019 K1 NOA2 to NVC thread and read the .pdf file in the first post.

Old site: (also the data source for all 'USCIS case tracker' apps):

https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

New site: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ (you have to create an account and add your case # to it)

Neither is more reliable (and it's very possible you won't see anything on either, and will have to just wait for the physical mail). For a while it looked like they were phasing out the "old" site, but that trend seems to have reversed itself and there are still lots of cases that show up on only one (or much earlier on one than the other).

We can't opine on which is more accurate. Your mileage may vary.
