Applications from mid-March are getting viewed approved ! Hope to start hearing good news from fellow April applicants soon

Yes I’ve been watching that too. It’s great to see noa2’s for March. Knowing us April filers could get noa2’s soon!

Find Igor's list from the blue ribbon above. I don't remember which tab but dig a little and you'll find it.

There’s several ways on this site. 1 easy way is to look at the March 2019 129F thread. A few people there reported receiving their NOA2

i been following March thread like almost stalking them.

another site you could check is https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1historical/. i believe the data base is VisaJourney users' timelines

The process timeline on USICS site is very discouraging... it still shows 5-8 months process time...

Hey!

Quick question for some of you.. Did any of you submit a handwritten copy of your birth certificate with your application? I did and have read a couple of times recently that these are sometimes rejected by the NVC in favour of a printed electronic version? Annoyed that if this is the case, I didn’t know this when submitting my application and it may now cause a delay.

Any thoughts much appreciated!

Mine was a printed copy from the city records dept. I don’t know if handwritten is going to be an issue. Did you send a copy of your passport? I sent both. USCIS is looking for proof of citizenship, either will suffice. If like you say it’s at the NVC you can probably send a printed version to your fiancé for the interview.

If the handwritten copy of the BC is on official government paper with a seal for authentication purposes then I see no problem. But if it is a standard issue, plain vanilla or a happy go lucky BC which could be forged then I say you may run into a problem. If there is a printed electronic version of your BC it would be advisable to get a copy, you may want to consider a few copies as you will need them down the road once you are in the States. If you are proactive then you have a head start if something comes up that they require the updated electronic version saving you valuable time.

all documents not issued by official parties are required a stamp by court or authorities, just to show those documents are not fake.

Take us not from English speaking countries for examples, all our documents are required an English translation. Most of the original copies are in written form, and not in English!

As long as your handwritten copy has some kind of proof of authenticity , i think it should be fine.

Congratulations!  I came in this thread hoping to see the first April approval.

I figured that it would be coming soon (and that it would either be a UK or Philippians member).
