Nice work @BBGG

I'd be interested to see back end data that we aren't really able to track right now, like:

  • average timeline for people with prior marriages
  • average timeline for people with criminal histories
  • average timelines for people immigrating from Latin America, Asia, Africa, North America, Europe, etc etc

Click the "reveal hidden contents" button below to see minimum, average, and maximum NOA1-NOA2 times (in days) by country of origin.  This is based on data from January-May of 2019.  Obviously, countries with a higher sample size will have more accurate estimates.

If we're sending suggestions to the VisaJourney folks, I would add one:

Allow us to see more than 10 immigration timeline records at a time, and/or allow us to download subsets of that data as a CSV or Excel file so that we can do our own analysis easily.  It took me a long time to pull out the last 1000 records (yes, I went through 100 pages and copy-pasted them into an Excel spreadsheet).  You might be surprised at what kind of ideas your users come up with when you facilitate crowdsourced analysis.

Amazing data analysis BBGG!
Did you look at "Igor's list" page? It shows all the timelines (thousands of them) in one page.
https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/monthly_filers.php

It would be cool to extract timelines without RFE so we can see the "real" average days,
assuming/hoping we don't get RFE (*knock on wood*).

ROC mailed (from overseas) 7/7/2022

Delivered to lockbox in Phoenix AZ 7/18/2022

Text with case number & check cashed 7/25/2022

Fingerprints applied 8/10/2022

It says Approved!?!?  8/23/2022

Finally received the Green Card 9/30/2022

Just took a look at my timeline and the estimated time for NOA2 and even though it is not 100% certain it's a relief to know how smooth and fast things are moving for everyone!

Hi guys, I filed thr i-129f form last May 21 and still haven't got the noa1 yet. Who do I call to check the status of my application?

A couple of things to be aware of.

!. You should be in the May 2019 K-1 filers.

2. You should check to see if your package arrived USCIS.

3. You should check your bank to see if the check was cashed.

4. You should sign up for USPS

There is a service provided by the USPS (US Postal Service) whereby each morning USPS will scan your incoming mail (just the address side of the envelope) and email you an update. It's very convenient these days to have advance notice that an important piece of mail is being delivered.

The service is available to most communities but some are still being rolled out so not all areas are available. Check the website with your zip code to verify your location is available for the service. A person in the USA can sign up for this free service here:

https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

You can also use the USPS Mobile app available in the Google play store.

5. Did you check your SPAM folder

6. Once 30 days have gone by you should call USCIS and enquire.

7. You should complete your profile so we can see your information to insure the correct answer; here is why:

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

March applications definitely moving a little slower than Jan and Feb did though.. I guess that's expected as they may have been quieter months for applications volumes. Finger's crossed we start seeing April trickle in in a couple of weeks. We'll all be looking out for that first one! Good luck to all!
