Hello,

Well, this will be a little bit of a complicated story so please bear with me.

After filling my removal of conditions in February 2017 my Greencard finally arrived 2 years later on the 25 of March via priority mail.

My problem now is that I received a letter the next Day (March 26) informing me of an upcoming Biometrics appointment.

I filled the I-90 on the 23 of March for never having received my Green Card in the first place after an officer at an Info-Pass appointment

I went too on March 21 told me to do so.

My question now is should I just log into my online account and cancel the I-90 request via a direct message or does calling them makes more sense???

I just can't believe what is happening...

If you already have your green card then you can call them, explain the situation and cancel your appointment.

I will call them this week and I just wrote them this message in my Uscis account:

Dear Uscis officer,

I would like to cancel my I-90 form for green card renewal since I received my Green card via Priority mail on the 26 of March 2019.

Thank you very much

Regards

Christoph

Here a time line:

I called USCIS twice (in the fall of 2018 and winter of 2019) as I had not yet received my permanent resident card.

2019 March 21 Infopass appointment (Passport stamp/recommendation to fill I-90 from the officer)

2019 March 24 filling I-90 for never having received a green card.

2019 March 25 Green Card arrives with priority mail.

2019 March 26 letter for upcoming biometrics appointment arrives.
