Driving up my driveway after work on Wednesday and a full-grown doe was on the gravel about 30 feet in front of me so I stopped to let it go on it's way. She jumped the cow-fence and ran into the field across from the house but didn't go far...and then I noticed something in the grass on the side of the road. So I got out of the van to investigate...

Everyone say it all together now...."Awwwwwwww...." :hehe:

I couldn’t help it…lol..I had to touch it. :-P So I quietly reached out and stroked it’s tiny head with just my index finger. Hehe And the thing FREAKED!!! LOL It jumped up and started bawling reeeeal loud with this MAAAAAA bleating sound (actually sounded like it was calling for Mama!) and Mama HEARD it oh boy did she ever! Hahaha She started flipping out in the field on the other side of the fence running back and forth along the length of it but still keeping her distance because she was afraid of me of course…lol. So I hopped back into the van, slowly drove on to the house, got Alli and my camera and went back just long enough for Alli to have the experience of seeing a new-born fawn (it was no more than a week old, if that) and to take 3 or 4 pics and then we went right back home so it’s mama could come and get it. And she did. We noticed after dinner that Mama was no longer in the field so we quietly checked and the fawn was gone too.

*Nobody start telling me how wrong it was to go back the 2nd time cuz I know it was but it wasn't for long and I wanted my daughter to see it AND I wanted pics, ok* :whistle:

It was so sweet!

- February 1, 2007 - Touched!

- February 2, 2007 - Cheque cashed by CSC!

- February 5, 2007 - Tommy received NOA1 (Hard copy!) Yay!

- April 5, 2007 - Tommy is coming to me for 12 days yay!! :)

- Impatiently waiting!

- April 27, 2007 - NOA2!! :)

- April 28, 2007 - Touched, oh my!

- May 11, 2007 - NVC receives our stuffs :)

- May 15, 2007 - NVC Sends our stuffs to London, yay! :)

- May 29, 2007 - Packet 3 received.

- June 7 , 2007 - Packet 3 returned to Embassy.

- July 11, 2007 - Received Packet 4.

- August 16, 2007 - Interview at 10AM :)

- March 19, 2008 - Court allows permission to take my daughter to live in the US! :)

- March 31, 2008 - Sent Passports and documents to the Embassy. Waiting for Visas...

- April 10, 2008 - Visas in hand!!! Omgosh!!

- June 23, 2008 - Going home to my man, finally :) POE (ATL)

- 08-08-08 - Wedding :)

- 08-21-10 - 2 year Green Card received! :)

05/07/2007 Received email from USCIS ROME confirming that our petition was approved (why Rome? because we complained to the District Office Rome about the Sub-Office Frankfurt..it took too long for our petition to be approved)...now waiting for the interview letter from the Consulate

05/18/2007 E-mail from IV Frankfurt, our interview was scheduled for May 29th

05/19/2007 Packet 4 in the mail: ja ja ja interview letter

05/29/2007 Interview at 7.30 a.m. APPROVED Thank you, God!

06/01/2007 Visa arrived !

06/03/2007 Mayday on the plane POE Cincinnati

06/21/2007 Welcome Notice from USCIS

06/29/2007 Applied for SSN at the local Office

07/07/2007 Green Card arrived

07/09/2007 Another 2 Welcome Letters from USCIS...God, they really love me! :D
