Hey, 

Is your case "ready" on the CEAC ? if yes it means that it is on the way. Then I guess you can contact your embassy if it is taking to long. In my case my case reached the embassy Monday and I received my mail in the post on the Wednesday.

I'm not. If you want an answer from Canada you'd better go to the Canada forum to ask Fellow Canadian.

There isn't away to track. If you feel that your situation has not produced the outcome you were expecting then call the Embassy. 

 

Check in with other Canadian's in the sub-forum for canada. Your time here is over and you require direct responses from the Canadian thread.

Hey guys. Embassy has not been responding to my emails the last couple of weeks. Two weeks ago they told me they didn’t receive my file event though I could see it was delivered and signed  on DHL. Also my status changed to ready shortly after. When i try to call them, the only thing they are able to do is schedule and appointment but can’t give me information about the case. I’m at a loss. Should write a letter to the embassy?

Allow me to work through this with you so you have a better idea what is taking place.

There is NO need to contact the Embassy. They will send you the P3 when THEY are ready. I will attach a copy so you can see that in paragraph one it states what your next steps are.

Just because they received your case doesn't guarantee that on the same day, the same minute that they received your case they are going to respond to you. It doesn't work that way. The file is received and your status is changed to ready. They did their part. 

 

Also my status changed to ready shortly after.

 

Get the Ethiopia K1 Embassy instructions at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hEsLWL0RE-iAoq_ny5866BsaNq1aYzB8/view?usp=sharing as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. There are instructions of what you need to do to pay your fee and schedule your appointment when your status change to ready and that's just where you find yourself now.

Stop wasting time with calling, writing letters and such to the Embassy.

 

Those in this thread, are applying from various Embassies around the world and there are different processes for each. So what works in Russian, Philippines or UAE may not work for those processing through the Ethiopian Embassy. When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Ethiopia most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

HELP.  I'm just curious about my fellow April NOA2 filers.

 

By now most of you have gotten to the Embassy stage and chances are most of you have your interviews booked. I however, along with many members from my Embassy, Jordan,  cannot find ANYTHING anywhere open for this summer. Is anyone else having the same issue with not finding an interview time slot this summer? Its not just MENA Embassies as Ive read many that are MENA are getting booked.

 

....In case you're wondering about our inquiries with our Embassy, they told me via email they reserve 8 time slots for K1 interviews per month. They reserve 3 months in advance for all Visas categories and have told us to "keep looking everyday for cancellations as some cancel or postpone"  BUT those cancellations have to be other K1 Visa time slots. There is a member from my Embassy here on VJ who's been looking everyday now going over 60 days! He checks all day constantly looking and refreshing. Nothing. With only 8 K1 bookings a month, and summer being the busiest, its Impossible.

 

Its possible we are looking at 4th quarter for interviews and we are beyond upset!! 8 doesn't cut it. Our Embassy stated that if we can not find an appointment, to email them and THEY will book it and WE CAN NOT MOVE, CANCEL OR POSTPONE. So far they have not replied to another member here who has asked 2 weeks ago to go ahead and book. So it seems once we email them and say hey we can't find a spot, they can book any month, anytime and its take it or leave it. Thats our Embassy. Our local senators office said they couldn't offer much aside from a basic inquiry letter and that they may book an interview to for us to "satisfy their inquiry' and then it defaults to the above mentioned. Take it or leave it. So if they book end of September or even October nothing we can do. So upsetting.

Seems like you’re really on top of everything. Have you tried posting this question in your regional sub forum? Have you tried physically going yourself to the embassy to get answers?  Maybe to find more forum members from your area?

just to let you know that I just got out of the medical check ! Everything went really fine.  I can come get my result back next Thursday. 

My interview is then scheduled for the week after (25/06) ! 🔥♥️

Yes and no. Each medical exam station is different contact yours before scheduling. I haven't been following the requirements from St. Lukes. Go over to the Philippines subforum and ask. That's what subforums are for.
