My fiancé went to his interview yesterday and passed. :) Now we sit and wait for his passport with the visa.

I would like to thank you @Greenbaum and Hank for all your help. I will be back for more when AOS comes.

Good luck to everyone else waiting for their turn, it's not too long now.

I've done a little research for your consulate. Here is what I have found. Immigrant visas to the United States are processed for citizens and residents of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan at the Consulate General in Almaty.

Further information can be found here: https://kz.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee-visas/

If you get a P3 letter from the consulate could you share a copy with me. I will use it to help others who come behind you. Thanks.

Hey everyone😊. I have a question about the affidavit of support for the k-1 visa. As the petitioner i am self employed and started working ( first job) about 5 months ago, I don't have any tax returns and make $990 and my expected income for this year will be $47,500 and i have $11,000 In savings. Since I just started working I decided to use a co sponsorjustxto be on the safe side.  However my cosponsor ( my mom ) makes about $23,700 and has $20,000 In savings she has one dependent ( my little bother ) and have sponsored ( immigration )  2 people in the past 5 years( the first one about 5 years ago , and the second one about 3 years ago ). my question is does anyone knows if her income is enough to sponsor my fiancée ?

Thank you any help would be appreciated.
