Oh Veeeey. I just tried it a number of different ways and I get no results. Give it another day or so and try again.

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Ethiopia.
 
Those in this thread, are applying from various Embassies around the world and there are different processes for each. So what works in Russian, Philippines or UAE may not work for those processing through the Ethiopian Embassy. When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Ethiopia most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

@Greenbaum hello! can I ask when will be the next schedule? Mine still shows "at NVC". My NOA2 was April 26 and got my Case # and Invoice # on May 15. But it was not ship out yet. I was thinking maybe it scheduled on the next schedule.

Hi! We're the same. May case # assigned on May 15 2019. NOA2 was April 26 2019. I already filled out the DS-160 but not yet paid as I am waiting for the packet 3. I just check my case at CEAC and still shows "at NVC". 😢

When executing your AFP be sure you use "You would choose the Commonwealth employment/Purpose for your Purpose Type and then Code 33 for Immigration/Citizenship as your Purpose of Check."

Hello, i would like to thank @Greenbaum and this group for helping me and my fiance, for answering our questions and giving advices. My visa got approved today. ❤❤❤ 

 

The documents that was taken from me on pre-screening: 

Appoinent confirmation

Passport

Birth certificate

Certificate of No Marriage

Police clearance/NBI

Medical Result

MRV slip/ visa fee receipt

Ds-160

 

During the final interview, the consul didn't ask me any other proof, just my DS-160. Question was just the following: 

 

Tell me about your fiance.

What is his job?

Where is he connected?

How many times did he visit you?

How did you meet? 

How many times did he visit you?

 

She didnt ask me to submit the affidavit of support or anything else but its really good to be prepared because its case to case basis. Some of the applicants, they were asked to submit different types of documents. Its really easy when you just follow the instructions correctly and also make sure that your documents are conistent, it helps a lot.

For Ukraine petitioners in the 5/28 NVC shipment:

 

DHL has officially delivered to the embassy... about an hour earlier than usual (based on previous four deliveries).  Soon we will have our emails from the embassy and can start paying the fee, schedule the medical exam and embassy interview (as long as you already completed your DS-160, of course).

Get an early start before you hear from the embassy with these links to information, including the embassy's P3, that will make your life a little less stressful.  Good luck at your interview.  BTW, if you receive a newer version of the P3 from your embassy then the one that I am provided would you share a copy with me so I can keep updated and able to present current information to those who come behind you?
