Kind of worried! Using DHL, I saw that my file was delivered and signed for on May 17th. However, I reached out the embassy and they stated they didn't receive a file yet from NVC

Our file left the 14th for Sydney, and according to the DHL hack they signed for it on the 20th. However, the embassy is still telling my fiancé they don’t have it and our CEAC status still says “In Transit”. What could be the hold up? Feeling frustrated.

Once it arrives at the embassy your case will receive their attention with a series of steps to receive and at the end of the receipt process the woll flip the switch to make your case "ready". No one can say with any certainty how long that will be.  There are many things you can do to prepare for your interview while you wait.

When did she received her packet 3? I didn't hear yet from NVC and everytime I check my case # its says "at NVC".

Congrats and happy trip to your fiance!!

Godbless..

I have given you the information in what needs to be done for your interview which included the P3 link to the embassy website. I gave you the link to Hank's website with step by step instructions. I explained that your case will probably be on the next shipment and of course your case is still is going to display "at NVC" until it ships. You need to stop looking at NVC for your case status. IT's NOT going to change till Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

Spend some time at the HK US Embassy website and read up on what the requirements are and what is next. Here is the link: https://hk.usconsulate.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/fiancee/the-interview/ and

http://www.ustraveldocs.com/hk/K1 Visa Instructions 15Mar2018.pdf

Spend sometime in the sub forums for China/HK found here. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/94-china/  There are many experts that can help you along. Most here in this forum are trying to get their arms around their own process and have very little knowledge for HK.

On the USCIS case status search, I have the message about NOA1: Case was received... on January 14th.

However, on CEAC my case is ready, I’ve received p3, and I have an interview scheduled. Weird. Should I do anything to resolve this discrepancy?

The only thing to do with USCIS status is not to care about 😉😊

No. Just ignore it. Good luck with your interview.

Hello, received approval on April 27, 2019, documents sent to the NVC almost month ago,  Lady from USCIS said, but no number from the NVC! How long? Really 6 weeks? 🙄

Probably not. 2-4 weeks is what we're seeing from NVC for case number assignment.

I've addressed in the first post on the first page of this thread.

I've addressed in the first post on the first page of this thread.

when I asked NVC about our case, they replied in a letter:

Thank you for your inquiry. We do not have a record of receiving your petition.

It can take at least six weeks for the National Visa Center (NVC) to receive an approved petition from U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and enter it in the U.S. Department of State's database system. If it has been less than six weeks since USCIS approved your petition, you don't need to take any action at this point.

I got the same response. I would definitely recommend reading up on the thread @Greenbaum mentioned.  I can vouch first hand that reading and following what it says will make the next month or so easier on you.

As as a reference, I called everyday and everyday they said call back in six weeks, it took them about 19 days total from NVC 2 to my case number.

Your file is still at USCIS. According to first post is says that it will take about 2-4 weeks before your file has been sent to NVC. I still stand by my first post. It's there to answer these questions that have been asked over and over. Please read and believe what is being shared with you. Most here have had the same  experienced.

But how it's possible? Lady from USCIS said, that they send our documents to NVC month ago?! 27 of April they send when my case was approved. How my documents can be still in USCIS?

You need to call USCIS again. Approval of my I-129F was April 26. I called NVC and they already received it and already have assigned case # and invoice #.
