You could just call again and ask them what the official date was. If it didn't get assigned till the 9th that would explain why it didn't get sent out today...from the looks of things there is a certain date where if the # isn't assigned (usually about a week before next shipment) it sits and waits a little longer. It is also possible that it will get shipped tomorrow.

Oh wow, it would be great if it got shipped tomorrow!! How do you know that it might be able to get shipped tomorrow? I will call them tomorrow for sure to find out that date, thanks!

NOA 2 was April 10th and NVC Received it April 30th! It's all on my timeline if you want to use it for reference

Was the 9th the day you were assigned the case number ? Or was it the day you called and found out you had a case number ?

It was assigned on that day. That's why I didnt expected it to get shipped already and was quite suprised.

You have three stages 1) in transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

 

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.
