I'm not lucky either. When I go, I give all my gambling money to the door man and then when I leave I ask him if I had a good time.

Smart tactic! I stick to the scratch offs, not as far to the store as it is to Las Vegas!

It takes 4 weeks average to leave USCIS to NVC. It takes NVC 2-4 weeks to assign a number. It can take a week to 3 weeks to get to your embassy. Your mileage may vary.

I can see cases whose NOA2 was almost 2-3 weeks after ours and their cases have been received by NVC, case number assigned, and on their way to destination.  I'm just wondering if something can go wrong after NOA2 (approval)?

Our case has been ready since may 6, but I cannot pay the fee because there are no appointments available. I wonder how long will it take for them to open more dates, considering the very small quantity of immigrant visas  issued in my country (according to uscis statistics). What is the experience for you?

Yes their can be but I'm sure there is more than one.  The one that comes to mind is a record arrives and ZUSCIS forgets some housekeeping and it gets sent back to cross their T's and dot the I's. Other reasons not so much.

My NOA 2 was on the 23 of April. Don’t worry you’ll see some progress if not this week it will be the next.

Hello everyone. My case status is also *Ready* now.

May I ask please. How did you knew that your case status is now ready? Did you called NVC or received email from NVC? Thank you so much!!
