Thanks...   that is where I have been.    The conversations didn’t seem relevant to me.   I’ll spend some more time going through it again.   If anyone sees a different one relevant to Rio K1, please let me know.

You could post a new topic in that regional sub-forum......

Q1 - The children are US citizens and do not need to be with you or be a part of any visa since they are USC. Make sure each of them have US Passports and there will be less of a problem and less paperwork.

Q2 - It's up to the Embassy whether they will except a co-sponsor. You can have him complete the I-134 and the other financials that I will list.

EVIDENCE OF SUPPORT. You should be able to demonstrate that you will not become a public charge or be a burden on the U.S. taxpayers for financial support. A completed I-134 Affidavit of Support Form (https://www.uscis.gov/i-134) K1/K2 Interview Preparation Instructions – English (February 2014)  Page 3 of 9 with an original signature will be useful to the consular officer to evaluate your petitioner’s ability to be financially responsible for you. You should also submit your petitioner’s most recent U.S. Federal income tax return (Form 1040) and wage statements (Form W-2). Employment letters stating salaries and bank statements may be included to substantiate the I-134. Get the IRS transcript in place of the actual 1040 here: https://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript Use this link to determine the income levels needed https://www.uscis.gov/i-864p.

Q3 - If you are the petitioner then yes will you submit the same items as I have listed above.

Where does your fiancé live?

I’m the petitioner I live in the US an dis not work last year at all , so I did not file tax return 2018.

I will not be able to sponsor my fiancé .

I check the embassy  website in Ivory Coast ( Cote D Ivoire) and they do accept co sponsor.

Now my concern is that my brother who is willing to do it . ( He makes  a lot  $200k a year) for owe $4000 after he filed his taxes .

is it still ok for him to do it owing the IRS?

my fiancé live in Ivory Coast .

That's kind of confusing. I think you wanted to say "if you get a case number assigned by Wed this week your file will ship on the 14th". Any day after Wednesday that you get your case number assigned you will more than likely will ship on May 28th or 29th.

If you call to get your case number be sure to ask when it was assigned so you can determine if it ships or not based on IBE2CA explanation. :)

Wouldn’t you guys say if a case number is received anytime this week it’ll ship out by the 14th or 15th? I don’t see why it would not or how valid is it that because a number is issued after Wednesday that it won’t ship out on the 14th or 15th ? It seems like enough time to get em on the shipment 🤷🏽‍♂️😕

Yes your brother can file a I-134 plus all the back up information from my "financial" post. Owing taxes is not something that concerns the embassy.

Let me say this, since you don't have the gold you are not allowed to make the rules. NVC has the gold so they get to make the rules. For the past 6+ months we have been witness to NVC using this process. What I and many others have determined is the Wednesday before the shipping date is the cut off.

Timelines are not very accurate but they do help give a good guess so help others and enter when you received your case number.

Probably not as I received my case number on a Thursday before the last shipment and didn’t make it 🤷🏻‍♀️

@Greenbaum, is there another thread created that we should be following after things get shipped from the NVC to the respective consulates or is that where we part ways and go bug people in the sub-forums?
