Hello!! May I ask if how did you know if NVC already received your case? Did NVC will send e-mail or mail to the petitioner or to the beneficiary?

You can call NVC if you prefer. Make sure you follow the steps in the first post and update your email address with them. I did all that and the first mail I recived from them was the day they sent my petition to the embassy, so calling could be better in the terms of reciving your number a bit sooner. It won't speed anything tho. Good luck in the rest of your process!

Hello guys, please anyone have any idea about my case. 

i got:

noa1: 11/28/2018

noa2: 03/28/2019 

We was waited still 16th April to called NVC  but don’t have a case number yet and wait 6 weeks. I don’t want to wait that long so I called NVC on 19th April and they read our case number. We check on the CAEC website everyday still now it’s at NVC. I did called them several times but they said still at NVC and they will notify us when they forward case to Embassy. On 1st May they sent us the email in the below: 

 

Dear Sir/Madam:

 

You will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General.

Anyone have the same problems like us? Thank you for all your help advances.

It just means your case didn't make to last shipment but will be in the next one most certainly. Next one is 14-15 May. 

Don't worry and overthink, as it can be frustrating, it's still normal and you're not the only one. Best of luck!

I second them in saying you’re not the only one as here I am! Lol. My case didn’t make it to the last shipment either.. and I’ve also already scheduled my interview 2 months away.. I’m clearly hopeful. All we can do is hope for the best and not stress.

Thanks a lot for your respond. So can I file ds160, pay the visa fee first , and wait still receive pkt3 from HCM consular , after that book the interview ?

I wonder, is it necessary to schedule the interview in advance? Or it varies from country?

Everyone says you gotta wait till CEAC status shows “Ready” as it indicates your case has reached your embassy. But some people go ahead and schedule it before that anyway. Since most dates are usually 2 months away so. I guess it depends 🤷🏻‍♀️
