Hello! May I what will be the next step after receiving NOA2? Is the NVC will the one will send a mail or you need to call them? Thank you

Hello and congrats!

You can call NVC if you prefer. Make sure you follow the steps in the first post and update your email address with them. I did all that and the first mail I recived from them was the day they sent my petition to the embassy, so calling could be better in the terms of reciving your number a bit sooner. It won't speed anything tho. Good luck in the rest of your process!

P. S. Please update your timeline, thank you.

Anyone know when’s the next shipment? My case number was issued on the 25th of April but it’s showing still at NVC

Your answer can be found on the previous page 😊

Correct. They'll be sending out cases on May 14th and 15th.

I was told by an NVC rep herself that cases are sent out as soon as they are ready, regardless of the day of the week (I.e. every other Tuesday). She specifically told me that the every other Tuesday shipment idea is not accurate. Can someone verify this beyond the proof from trending? Is the rep just not wanting to confirm information that she’s possible not allowed to? Interesting...

That’s interesting, you can go with either or.  In my opinion I don’t believe they can give you a specific date because things can change at any time and who ever you spoke to may not want to be held liable for giving you information that may not be concrete. This is just my speculation.

That question has been answered many many times even as soon as the page before.  Why are you not reading the thread? Hint. When you sign off vj remember that spot and then the next time you come return to where you left off. So simple. I do it for about 10 - 12 threads I think you can do it for one thread. Especially since the knowledge has more of an impact on your process

Just to keep this thread alive and maybe cause @Greenbaum to shake his head in cringe a little 😅

Anyone on here ever watched a tlc reality show called 90 days fiance? I have recently heard of it and watched an episode, my goodness is so cringe worthy that you can't help but to feel better about yourself no matter what's your situation 😁

There is so much information I am starting to feel confused. The NVC has given us a case number. The next step will be to send it to Bogota. At what point to we fill out the DS160? Is this the only other form besides the support one that we fill out? Also, there is a fee for the DS160, will there also be a fee at the embassy? Do we fill out the form once the embassy has our case? After they receive our form then they give us the appointment or do they get our case, we schedule an appointment and then fill out the dc 160?

Thank you for your help :)

I started filling out the ds 160 when I got the case number from NVC. One for you and one for each child also traveling (if any). Once the status of your case is "ready" you can pay the fee in order to schedule the appointment in your local embassy /consulate. No other fees are required, but you might want to check with your embassy.

Have you been able to track your case with CEAC.state.gov?

te.gov?

Neither the fist case number nor the one I got from the NVC works when I enter it at CEAC.state.gov

Our NVC status is:  At NVC and we have submitted the DS160.    Now we are waiting on the status to change to In Transit / Ready to Connect the DS160 to the Case number so that we can schedule the interview and pay fees.    You can submit the DS160 now or wait until the status changes to Ready.     I have received advice to NOT jump the gun but we are going to go ahead and try and schedule the interview and pay fees when the status changes to In Transit.  Hopefully all will workout fine.  We have our documentation already set to ask for police records and schedule the exams.
