Got my NOA2 letter in the mail. Neither website updated so was really surprised when I saw it. NOA1   12/18/2018   NOA2   04/02/2019. A hell of a lot faster then I ever thought. Can't stop smiling.

Anyone else having problems with the 'Ask NVC' form?  My fiance and I have both tried to submit and update our email addresses, but it keeps returning 'invalid date of birth'.  It's not incorrect, and we click through via the calendar rather than typing it. Fiance got worried when it came up with the error the first time as he thought he had gotten it wrong, hah.

Use todays date as your birthday  then explain in the box  and  give correct  bday in the box. This happens all the time.

Oh I wish you had read all the pages to this thread. That question has been answered hundreds of times. Now 101 times as we include you. For the easiest way of processing the next steps go straight to Hanks website. Link is below. He provides everything and in the order it should be done. Ask you questions in the sub forum at that link is below.

Additional information can be found here:

Also, there is a sub-forum for the Philippines here on VJ that you should be a part of. It's a good place to read what others are experiencing which will only prepare you for your interview.

Manila US Embassy states that a scanned copy of the signed I-134 is fine, if you don't have the original.

It's been said that you need to use DD/MMM/YYYY where month is in the three letter machination. Let us know if that works.

No when I did it (the inquiry) it did not work for  me.  It messes up on random dates.

We had to use DD/MONTH/YYYY, i.e., 08/April/2019 for the DOB field

Also, we have our official NOA2 in the mail today so that's exciting. Do you have any ideas as to when batches will be at the NVC?

It's been taking 2-4 weeks to NVC and then another 2 weeks to assign the case number. Thanks for the update on the DOB field.

Everyone once you arrive here in the thread make sure you fire off an email to NVC to update your email address and that of your beneficiary. Follow the instructions in the first post of this thread. It worked for me and NVC sent me an email once my case was approved and also once they assigned my case number. It only takes a few minutes and you only have to gain. Be sure to provide the information NVC request each time you email them. Put your USCIS receipt number in the subject line.

Supply the following: petitioners and beneficiary's full names, date of birth, and email addresses tell them you are updating your  email address with NVC in the box. Tell them to notify you via email once your case is received and or case number is assigned and finally once it leaves NVC. It does work they answered me with that information when I sent my email to them, but like they say here your mileage may vary!!!!

How long did it take for you to hear something back from the contact form after you emailed the NVC? Thank you

Yeah I had tried that before asking here, alas did not work either.  I just put in yesterday's date and corrected it in the body of the request.
