It does not point to your specific case. You have to make the assumption that one, they gave you a case number. My ceac status states "in transit". It's Tuesday and not Thurs, Fri, Sat or Sunday. The only shipping service NVC uses is DHL. And Greenbaum says so!! :D

Ok, are we clear now and we can move ahead? :jest:

You can't argue this! Case closed.

@Greenbaum now is the time to drop the mic and walk away 😁

CEAC still says “at NVC” but received an email just a few minutes ago that it has been sent to Montreal. I was even able to do the DHL hack, and it is already showing that shipment has been picked up. 👏😃

Well let's see. Received an email stating that it was sent to MTL and you check DHL and it's showing that the file (or somebody's file as we can specifically confirm) is in transit. Mmmmm. Greenbaum is raising his hand high in hopes that he will be called on for the answer.

I would venture to say that all your needles on your gauges are pointing toward MTL embassy as the final destination. Now,  what will you do? What's your plan? :D

Is that even possible? 🙄😂

I doubt it but if he was to believe then I will let him.

I stopped pounding my head against a wall long time ago. It's just sometimes things are just obvious. What people don't do, and it's an injustice to them, is they don't take the time to read. They want to come on and tell all their buddies how rotten this has been and USCIS should treat them this way or that way. Yada Yada Yada. If they put some energy into "exploring" VJ there is a wealth of information. How do you think I learned. (rhetorical question, no response required)  I did it and that's why I share to others. But Hey.... sometimes the person needs to do some of the heavy lifting. At lease use google.

Here's an exercise. Click on your flag in your profile and see where it takes you and what information is there.

I just might go into retirement. Ok. enough said. NEXT!

My plan is to take all the information you and others have been sharing, and let my fiancé know what he needs to be doing during this transit time. Which is finish the DS 160 and patiently wait for P3(he just applied for police check, and i134 has been filled out and sent to him).

Simply receiving the email that it’s been shipped to MTL is encouraging as well.

Reading, Reading and more Reading. I research the question and then I share the answer and I know that it will be asked again so I have stored all my information in OneNote and then I am able to cut and paste and not retype everything.

What version of the Canadian birth certificate does he have? Greenbaum had shared some info last week about this and it threw me for a loop because mine has the original wallet size which is apparently not acceptable.

Here is some additional information. As was stated in the Canadian sub-forum there is an "emergency order" application in Ontario. You need the birth cert that is CERTIFIED COPY OF BIRTH REGISTRATION that has the parents name. You don't want the "parental cert" that is a wallet sized one with parents names but no place of birth, doctors who attended birth etc. The parental one is for parents travelling with kids to prove custody in an easy to use/travel with format. Hope this clears up your question. CALL the registrar and tell them you need to do an emergency application otherwise you will be waiting 15+ weeks. Absolutely the long form is a required LIVE document needed at the interview or you'll get rejected.  I hope this info is helpful and best of luck.

Good plan. Do you need the P3 for MTL?

My fiancé actually did this at the very beginning of the process since there was info that he needed from that. So he does have the long form birth certificate ready to go!
