My case still hasn’t shipped out yet, and I’m feeling pretty anxious and nervous. Everyone I’ve talked to said that theirs shipped early on Tuesday mornings.. :( should I worry? NVC received my case 4/19 & my case number was assigned 4/24

I created rather lengthy post to answere questions like because it's always asked. Go to the first page of thread and read the first post and you'll have your answer.

Keep in mind that a forum like this one is for initial bonding with others who are along the same timeline as you for initial processing. The initial application is the same no matter where in the world you are. But, having said that, once you get your approval (NOA2 text message or email), you should also check in with your country's sub-forum to get a better understanding of the process for the Embassy that you will be interviewing with, and to get direct answers from those who have completed the steps you are about to at the US Embassy - Ethiopia.

Those in this thread, are applying from various Embassies around the world and there are different processes for each. So what works in Russian, Philippines or UAE may not work for those processing through the Ethiopian Embassy. When you are at the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Ethiopia most there will help answer your questions for the processing of your visa using their personal experience.

Get the Ethiopia K1 Embassy instructions at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1hEsLWL0RE-iAoq_ny5866BsaNq1aYzB8/view?usp=sharing as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the this website as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview.

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:AllPages

Thank you so much!! I will keep that mind. I really appreciate it.

Yes, I did check and found out thee are 3 similar cases time span and country wise (not same states tho) and it is 80, 84, 94 days.  I am 112th day

Mine took 125 days and I’m from the UK, which is normally one of the faster countries I believe...try not to overthink it - I definitely wouldn’t be feeling worried yet 🙃

Though having said that, processing tunes in general have sped up a lot recently, maybe you were caught up with the slower ones...😫

Possibly, no RFEs. Who knows? USCIS work in mysterious ways!

How does the tracking thing work exactly? I followed the instructions and it shows a package from the NVC to Argentina so I am guessing I did it right but how exactly did putting in those dates even pull up the exact package. 😮

Thanks-I agree. I am fortunate that there is no RFE and at least it is in process :)
